Could you not out source the small runs through the plastic?
WTF is he talking about? Oh, ok, got it.

Must have been five or so years ago the girls at church had a cultural activity where they needed wedding dresses (think Big Love) kidding. Anyway, I took Elayne's wedding dress and a very curvatious (read stacked) 16 year old girl fit the dress perfectly. She had the heals, the make up and long blonde hair. I had to walk out thinking I'm a married man, I'm a marries man, I'm a married man....

Heck, I noticed the BFH you're using for the grommet tool. Remember, you only have 9 nails....or is it 9" nails?

That's nothing. The 964 guys have a tool from Bosch for fixing broken DME's. It is not purchased through Porsche but does show up in the literature from time to time. Basically it re-flashes the chip. They call the process the Bosch drill. It involves disconnecting the battery a number of times, using jumpers and such, then if all else fails connecting the Bosch hammer drill to the DME.

Huh? There's a Bosch diagnostic tool, called the hammer, due to its shape that hooks to the OBD port. I don't understand what a drill would do, unless this is a joke. I'm on my way back from frozen Michigan today, and my brain is slow.

You selling ice to eskimos again? It's raining here. Most likely sunny at your beach house.

I bought a few grommet kits from HF this past Fall to repair and re-grommet tarps. After a particularly bad windstorm, I had to re-punch and press about a dozen grommets in the field. It worked wonderfully, and I saved a ton of money.

I see the punch tool, and BFH that you're using Doug. I love my mini-sledge hammers but i wonder in this case about using a smaller hammer....

Rain there too, but it beats 9F and snow/wind.

I think it's a 3# sledge that taked little effort. Basically drop it on the first two wacks, that put some effort into it with the last couple. The important part is to do it on solid cement. Years ago Elayne tried using the dinning room table. Table now has a nice set of olympic rings.
