1988 911 CARRERA CS TRIBUTE G50 LS1 BUILD
this build is not for the purists. this is a g50 car so i can put more power to it. will be installing 993 aero mirrors, has a carrera tail, will be installing 17" turbo twists with michelin pilots. car will stay white but am changing stripes to a bright blue. ls1 will have a cam and 243 heads, larger tb and maf, ss headers, ss mufflers, cai, likely will make around 400hp. again the pcar motor is around 440-450lbs and the ls1 is 400lbs. so weight isnt an issue. less weight more power . oil tank, lines, cooler delete will negate the addition of radiator and lines. kep adapter, my billet flywheel, meziere electric water pump, griffin 3core aluminum radiator, etc. i already have all the parts for the build, just getting ready to start some fun. building 4 ls v8 911's at once...

this is not my car, this is what we want pretty much as the end result. my car is very similar except has black stripes and black wheels right now.

Curious about that photo anyway. It's an actual 993 Turbo chassis? How much tube, and where? Not really anything that's terribly popular once you move past the torsion bar chassis cars.

basically the pan of the car and the g50 center tunnel is still intact on the car. the cage is thru the dash and makes up the front strut top tower attachements, and thru the rear body and makes the rear shock tower upper mounts. the body panels are zeus fastened to the cage/chassis. the inner front structure and rear structure is all cage.

the car was a race car when i got it and no title was ever given as with alot of race cars. to verify its a true 993 would be difficult since its cut up alot. the body is all fiberglass 993 panels, including hood, and doors. the pan and suspension area are 993. so im pretty sure its a 993 but dont know that its a true "turbo" chassis.

ordered new bfg all terrain 28" tall tires, 8" wide to put on 15x7 fuchs all around. going to lift the car 2" all around and take it off road rally crossing. sounds fun, why not lol
