Order Placed. Thanks Berk.

From the looks of your Shop from the website, you will need a 3 minute youtube video to post your tools.

Awesome. What do you find yourself using the most? Is there a tool that most guys wouldn't even think of that is your best tool?

This is something I've been thinking through for a long time. It's die cut cross-link foam. One of my vendors made me the die for $140 and another one cut out the foam for $150 for the lot of about 600 two up impressions. My cost came in at just about $0.125 each.
Sears sells something similar, out of cheep foam that doesn't hold nearly as many wrenches for about $20.00. I can hold more wrenches for better for less than $0.50.

Foam does not work for me. The tools get in and out from the slots so many times during the day... Less frequently visited boxes, yes!

Truth be told I'll cut corners on lots of things, but parts for the Porsche isn't one of them. My budget is sparse at best, so quality counts. I can't afford to buy it again.

(and in an effort to really **** off the crowd, I'll post some of my tools again)
Awsome set of tools dude!!!

Good deal on the chin to, are you open to any trades for a pair, both my SC could use them..

Alright gals/guys!

I initially bought 10 and this morning woke up to 43 orders. I fulfilled all the pending orders. Couple of notes:

1. Some of you guys are getting Christmas presents, and your wives are wonderful ladies. I had tons of Porsche talk today over the phone, some ladies bragging, some complaining. I LOVE it. Would not change it for anything. Great experience.
2. A couple early adopters did not receive hardware kits. I am on stand by to correct it.
3. 2 complaints of the first 13 arrivals of some imperfections on the rubber. I am working on replacements. Keep in mind some of these units are as old as our cars, they might not be perfect. If I am presented pictures and a clear dialog I can help.
4. I am working on a couple of other items you guys might like which are kind of hard to find, or expensive in the market.
5. This so far has been the most welcome experience I had, I gave green light to my internet guys to build a full catalog under my supervision for our 911s, and 930s. 30-60 days for completion. Super excited about this.
6. Meanwhile, if you are in TX, and especially San Antonio/Austin area please stop by for a coffee and shop talk. Bring your car, let us work on it, share your experience online. I am all for it.

I will be back

Berk

PS: @Amber, I have received a bunch of pms about this, it is not how many tools you have it is how you use them (I had to, sorry)

Quick story from Rennlist's past. A fellow 3.2L owner was wanting to remove a front tire from his 911 and was very frustrated that it wasn't like on his Honda. He jacked up the front end, made sure it was in gear, but the tire would just spin when he put his wrench on it. X10

He was post-grad working on a masters at UCSB in mechanical engineering and couldn't wrap his head around the above problems.
