Hey w00t!

First of all, that GT3 RS is superb and an excellent spec. In my mind, it is one of the very finest production P-Cars of any area, at any price. I know that you will take exemplary care of it, as you do with all your vehicles.

Recently we added a 2004 Boxster to the family stable, so I found myself slumming through the water-cooled forums and that is where I saw your thread on test-driving a Boxster Spyder. I had actually “missed you” on here, so I was happy to see the thread. Literally on Friday, I had divined that you had sold the air cooled cars via through that thread and then I saw your post here!

It must have been tough to let go of that ’86. However, one can always find nice P-cars out there and the fact that it went to someone you know and who will appreciate it is what counts.

It is obvious to me that you are gravitating towards an early 911, which would be a perfect counterpoint to your RS. Combine that with your C4S and Cayenne S for “normal” driving and I think you will have a really “complete” Porsche stable.

Now that I know where to find you on here again, I can keep track of your exploits and excellent photography. Your enthusiasm for the marque is refreshing!

500_19B, sorry for bromancing but your posts have always been inspirational to me and has fed constantly to my enthusiasm. I really do not possess the skills to get into that mighty machine but it is quite a brilliant machine. I wanted to learn proper driving before buying the RS but who knows when that day would come and what would happen in the interim. These days with cars spec'd to the brim here was a RS with the right options ie. none other than those geared towards saving weight. I still did not want to act. But staring at this shot in my office did not help.
