Default H-4 Sourcing

Hunting around for some H-4 headlight assembly package and found these on EBAY...

Am I missing something important here or are these just competitively priced ?

Thanks for any guidance

I think your talking about just the headlights ? whereas I am referring to the entire assembly ....well crap, now its sold out....but question remains, why were these priced seemingly under market ?!

Sounds like you may be interested in this thread. Steve Weiner is God on Wheels when it comes to this kinda stuff. I don't recall what he charged me, but it wasn't enough. He sent extra bulbs, fasteners, and included the relays. His extended hours tech hotline is worth every penny. He literally walked me through the entire job on the phone.

Thanks for the link, that is COMPREHENSIVE....lol....just another opportunity for me to learn more about these cars. Guess if I can lower and re-index the rear-end, this can't be that hard.

I've watched those eBay auctions for the Euro H4s and the price point is incredible. If you order from Pelican, which typically has good prices, you'd pay closer to $500 for a set of H4s in black and $500+ for the chromes.

I don't know how these guys do it, other than the Costco/Sam's Club model, but I do know there were a few eBay dealers that had those prices.

Sent an email to the guy and he is out of the paintable ones, but has plenty of the chrome flavor.....painting the chrome is not all the difficult. I think the KEY to doing such would be the self-etching primer coat properly done. Might just spring for it.
