Default Headlights only work when pull turn signal stalk to hi-beam "flash-to-pass" position

As the title says, all of a sudden, my headlights only work when I pull the turn signal stalk to high-beam "flash-to-pass" position.

When I turn the headight switch on normally, nothing - no high-beams, no low-beams, no nothing.

Only when I pull back on the turn signal switch do I get headlights (high-beams, I assume).

The simplest reason would seem to be that the turn signal stalk switch is fragged...but, any other ideas?

Thanks!

Most likely, you have your answer-the stalk.

You might also install the headlight relays as per the attachments.

Good luck,

Gerry

+ 1 on the stalk being the problem. I just replaced mine on my 75 911 and unti it'sl replacment had never noticed how sloppy my old signal stalk had become compared to a new unit. Good luck !!!
