Default I took my son out for his first Porsche ride! Pretty great.

To all you new fathers, taking your son or daughter out for their first Porsche ride is a major deal. My son has watched me tinker around the 911 in the garage and is fascinated with the car. "Daddy's Porsch-ahh car" he tells the kids on the bus picking him up for pre-school. I put his car seat in and took the Targa top off to let in the cool crisp fall air in. The smell of the fall leaves and watching them dance in the rear view mirror as we drove though are Central Pa. mountains was perfect. My son absolutely loved it. Taking a child for a 911 ride is one of the finest thing you could do as a Porsche owner.

I highly recommend the Sunshine kids Radian 80 car seat.

Great story!
Last year I took my younger daughter (11 at the time) on a fun run and she had a blast!
She is madly in love with the Porsche, and was thrilled to go on a run with a bunch of other cars.
We were up at 6:30 and on the road shortly after that because the run started an hour from where we live.
It was a long day, but great day.

Just wait until they are older and start to drive the car with you...

then the day that they ask for the keys

My daughter turned 18 today and can't wait for her first DE next spring.

I let my son drive the last mile to soccer practice on his 16th birthday. The looks of envy his teammates gave him as he pulled into the parking lot was priceless.

Good stuff! Which special edition 911 do you have? I know the Diamond Blue ones stood for one of two things. Gorgeous car.

I have one of 80 Commemorative Edition Targas brought to the united states. This was to celebrate the 250K made 911. There were 120 coupes, 100 Cabs, 80 Targas.
The carpets and leather are THE best I have ever seen put in a 911. I bought (pried it away) from the original owner that picked the car up new in Texas and brought it back to PA. The car is in PCA concourse condition.

Here is a rare pic of the 1988 Commemorative Brochure.

My friend's Dad had the same car too! It was the Targa (no tail) with the good doctor's signature. Gorgeous color combo!

Thank you. You may want to copy the CE brochure I posted. I bet he would want a copy. It is very rare to come by.

Can't wait to take him for his first ride. For now, he just climbs all over the car. Priceless.

Good times! I remember my first few rides with my son. I am sure my dad remembers the first few rides with me too!
