New to Rennlist: My 1987 Carrera Cabrio & 1995 Audi RS2
Hello to all,
I started posting last week here and wanted to post pictures of two of my vehicles:
1. 911 Carrera Cabrio 1987
2. Audi RS2 1995 (model never sold in the US, but designed and built during a two year at Porsche´s Zuffenhausen plant for Audi).
911 Cabrio 1987 - Triple blue
I have had the car for almost 10 years. Car currently has 38K original miles. Blast to drive. Only issue I have to sort out is the AC which has stopped blowing cold. Installed a new GAHH top last year and managed to source a remanufactured original Blaupunkt Cassette Radio on Ebay this year to leave it 100% stock.
2. Audi RS2 - Bugatti Blue
This vehicle was designed and assembled by Porsche at Zuffenhausen during the 1994-96 years. Porsche tuned Audi`s turbocharged 2.2L engine and took it from 230hp to 315hp. Porsche also added 968 brakes, 911 Porsche Cup 17" wheels, 993 foglamps, Recaro seats, carbon fiber interior elements, rear reflective strip (such as in the 911). 2891 units were built and the vehicle was never sold in the US.
The vehicle has a top speed of 163 mph and was the fasted station wagon in the world when it was launched. It does 0-62 mph times in 4.8 seconds (and acording to Wikipedia, it is faster than the McLaren F! from 0-30 mph).
Antoher interesting trivia, this car`s badging shows both the Audi and Porsche brand (the engine also has Porsche written on it).

Badging with Audi & Porsche brand
Rear with Red Reflective Strip (as in the 911)
Hope I did not bother anybody hear by posting my 911´s garage buddy. If anybody is interested, Wikipedia has interesting info regarding this model:

Race Car
Wow. Thanks for posting pictures. This crowd around rennlist really like pics. Both cars are beautiful. Porsche never minds whoring itself out, remember the Benz 500e, and how can we forget the Harley Davidson evolution motor and V-rod. The factory has made it clear in the past that they are a design company that happens to make cars. I still have a pair of those sunglasses somewhere. They were also involved with Airbus in that they did the layout of some of the cockpit. There is a long list.
