What is opinion on Magnecore ignition wires?

I had a set of aftermarket wires and I felt from a performace standpoint thay all pretty well do the same. I actually decided to clean up my original wires and put them back on because I felt it looked much better with the original ground braided wires ( SC )

I've always heard from Magnecore fans about how they help performance. I'm skeptical but open minded and wanted to hear if anyone has good experience with them.

Oh yeah my 944 wires did the same and you are right , it does start to look like crap. Mine even had a great light show at night so i new it was time. I have never heard anyone have a bad experience with them , although I would be dubios about HP claims over what Porsche engineers decide what are right for their car

FWIW,..After 44 years of working on all kinds of cars, I've never seen ANY ignition wires improve performance unless the old ones were defective and not firing properly to begin with,...
In such cases, anything is better than old, cracked, leaky plug wires. The Beru plug connectors suffer from internal failures of the supression resistors and thats my biggest complaint about factory or OEM wire sets.
For that reason, we use, sell, and recommend the racing Magnecor sets due to the heavy silicone jackets on these as well as the resistor-less plug connectors which do not fail like the Beru ones do.
