Default 911 Wrench In Charlotte NC Area

My friend has a nice '79 930 4-spd. His family are Corvette people (they own about 30 or so) so the 930 sees little action. They drove it a few months ago and noticed it was losing power. Engine tear down revealed the cam squirter's had clogged and the cams got fried. They now want to rebuild the engine and turbo.

Where in Charlotte NC is there a well-known excellent and honest 911 wrench?

Sorry I forgot I had changed my location. I've had work done by Jim. In fact he installed headers on my old motor when I was too much of a wrench newbie to do it on my own. He also lowered my ride height and did some other suspension stuff for me.

On the racing side I know Jim prepared some 944's and also was the wrench for a 911 that was entered in the Targa Newfoundland.

And gave me advice over the phone when I had some questions early on in my Porsche ownership.

Speedwerks and Eurowerks are good options for sure. You could also try Terry Sossaman at the 911 Shop in Charlotte, 704-596-1302. I've used all of these guys over they years, each has strengths in certain areas, but all three could do the motor work you describe.
