Question What ask price for 7&8 x16 Fuchs wheels?

Hi,

With the new wheels and tires now installed in my project car I now have a set of 7x16 and 8x16 Fuch wheels with center caps for sale. What would be the correct price for these in todays market?

I have never tried ebay and was thinking of starting with these... so looking for an idea of what I should expect to get for them.

They came off this car:

with new set of Tequipment valves:

Ready to ship:

I'm going to suggest $1,800? They are very nice. You could try for more if you don't mind waiting for the right buyer.

I just bought a complete set of 16" Fuchs.....7's and 8's......from a guy in Portland for $1,000 USD 2 months ago........they did not need any reconditioning........and a couple of your wheels look scratched up. Cost to refinish $125 per wheel.........

I only washed them. I should polish them and do the photos again. Those things that look like scratches are superficial marks. Unless you are talking about where the center cap goes... that is a scratch. I think I can touch that up with paint before selling them.

Thank you all for the feedback.

I sold a set of 7s and 8s (16) awhile back to a member of Rennlist for $1000 plus shipping, but they were undisturbed,--not polished, and like new. I think the polishing of the anodized finish cuts into the value. They also came with the valve stem supports,--which no one seems to have anymore, but are sensible to have.

Jaime I would definitely touch up that area around the center cap opening before posting for sale as it's the only spot I saw that looked flawed. Otherwise they look to be in very good condition.

Even so, I don't think you'll get anywhere near $1800 as suggested above. Just a guess but I'd say the most you'd get would be around $1200. If you put them on eBay I'm sure we'll all be watching. GL with the sale.

I think that everyone has a pretty good idea of where these are at. I tend to agree, although I have to say that yours seem to be in really good shape and certainly my bring a bit more then $1000. I was thinking $1200.

IMO, if you are going to ask such a question-start a thread. Ressurecting a two year old thread just muddies the water.
