Post cost of raising/lowering 73 911

What is involved in raising or lowering an early 911? I'm looking at one that was lowered (too far in my opinion) and need to know the cost of putting it right, or if it something that is relatively easy to do.

Also, does the VIN 9113100695 check out as a 73 manufactured in November 92?

That would be a 1973 911T Coupe. Serial number 0695

I wouldn't try to do it myself. I had a shop adjust the height in my car, corner weight and align. I think I paid $250.

Adjusting the front height is pretty easy, using the adjustment bolts at the end of each torsion bar. The rear is more complicated. The swing arms probably aren't adjustable (unless upgraded along the way) which means they need to be reindexed on the torsion bar. If you have an inclinometer or similar gauge it's easier to do, but without one it's trial and error. The "standard" height gauge is 25.5" road to top of the fender lip in front and 25" in back (approx. euro height).
