^^ No idea what came when. All I know is that I disassembled the fixture itself and painted the trim ring to match my paint. It wasn't until after that was done that the peanut gallery told me about the "paintable trim ring" that goes on over the part I painted.

I have an 86 and have the second trim ring. It has one screw that holds it in and is a complete pain to reinstall for some reason. I painted mine myself.
