Post Pics of new car, appreciate advise on wheels

and any other modifications ideas. I would like to put some real lite weight 16s or 17s with light weight tires that have decent traction. HRE 441s are cool especially is painted to match body color.

What mods should I begin adding. SS pedals, entry guards, and etc. Looking to have fun with this car and would like to squeeze a little more hp out if possible.

Not saying I have open check book, but what would look cool on this car if you had money to do it (within reason) and keep the car for the most part factory looking.

Wheel don't get any lighter than those Fuchs. Polish those dudes up, stand back, and then smile!

I see that you are in Memphis. Are you a member of the Mid South PCA? If you are, are you going to participate in the Great American Race welcome next Sunday in Germantown? It should be a terrific day!

Looks nice. One option is 17-inch 2-piece wheels made with Fuchs centers. Lighter than a comparable-size Fuchs. (Click for a larger version.)

The 17" that Jacks has are really the way to go. 16 inch tires will slowly go the way of 15 inch tires.IMO

Jack can correct me but I think they use 16x6 as cores and are not really that expensive. I will do the same in a year or two.

More specigically: <a href="http://lindseyracing.com/wheel2.htm" target="_blank">http://lindseyracing.com/wheel2.htm</a>

Depending on widths, they're about $1700-$1800 for a set of four, which includes the price of 16x6 donors. I'm on my fourth set (two sets made for the old RS version of my car, two new sets for RSR version).

Lots of track time and no problems.

Wow, 12 pounds for Fuchs is really light. What about best tire if I keep my 15s. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of choices.

Great website.

I am thinking the cone sir filter and the liteweight flywheel. Would that be a good start to feel some noitceable lower RPM improvement.

I too have an '88 (with the color matched 15" wheels that I wanted to keep). You are somewhat limited in tire choices, but I went with Pirelli's from tirerack.com.

I wouldnt change a thing on that car--- those diamond blue commerative cars are to my mind exceptional lookers straight out of the factory. At most maybe throw some SSI's on and a change of muffler and that should be sufficient....

ditch the spoiler and get some 17" Fikse, Kinesis or BBS wheels. While the wheels may not be "cheap" you will easily be able to sell them seperately for nearly what you bought them for granted you keep the wheels in good condition if necessary.

Your car looks great just the way it is <img border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" title="" src="graemlins/bigok.gif" /> I'd leave it as original as possible.
