For the second dash (remember that the first one was to test if I could recover/repair one), bought a cow, well 18 sq-ft of it for 90.00, a can of 3M 80 spray adhesive... and here is the result. I have a leather covered dash!! Yeah baby!!

Some photos from today. I installed the dash. I also installed the new momo steering wheel but that was just for the photos... maybe if I left this guy alone it would go faster, hehehehe

Jaime, Mussy is right, that looks fantastic. Wrap the kick pad the same it it will be pure pR0n.
Do the door tops so it wraps all the way around the interior and you will be into a new lever of pR0n mankind has never seen.

I have some left over cow skin... sounds like a good idea. I will give it a try.

The RSR is going to be like the '91 Cab. It is not going anywhere. Remember that I gave it to Angel with the condition that he would finish it, which he is doing. We both have skin in the game so the car will be for the both of us to enjoy. Not going to be sold, traded, or anything, hehehehehehe
Many more upgrades planned once the bodywork is done... I don't think we will ever finish this car. We will drive it as we continue to modify it. Hardest part was the bodywork...

We should get a bunch together and go to Daytona for the Roar before the 24 the week before the Rolex 24. I want to hear that beast go thru the tunnel

Took a few photos today of the progress of the car. Apologies for the quality, only had my phone with me... also, rubber trim on fender to bumper, not yet installed...
The exhaust is not the final one... reason why I asked him not to bother with fixing the cutouts... once we order the headers and the muffler he will finish the cutouts around the exhaust tips.
Could not resist installing the wheels/tires to see how they would look in the car now... but since the car has been on jack stands the suspension did not settle down enough... reason for the 4x4 look in the photos.

Alejandro Kaufmann. A friend found him and he has been great. An artist working the modifications to the body and making the fiberglass parts fit. When you look at the painted product the fenders and quarter panels look like metal...
Very pleased with his work. To the extend that I dropped the '81 with him today to fit the bumpers, fix two rust spots, and do a complete respray (see other thread on this).
After he is done with the '81, the 964 goes in for a complete respray as well, and finally, the FIAT Spider...
