thats nothing, you should see what they did to a poor Toyota truck..................100 times worse, they tied it to a boat ramp and let the tide consume it, burned it, dropped a trailer on it, then placed it ontop of a 15 or so story building and demo'd it...........after all that, it still started and drove........

Top Gear did a very nice review of the Carrera GT and at the time, it was the fastest car they had had on the show.

That said, they are still ******** for trashing a 911 - I wish them brake fluid on their paint, sugar in their gas, and caltrops in their tires!

Top Gear is a pretty popular car TV show here in Europe, and that guy Jeremy Clarkson can be quite funny. But he's known to hate Porsches (except the Carrera GT, but who wouldn't like that one), in fact he only likes (some) Ferraris, Mercedes and Aston Martins.

I have the video clip of his Carrera GT show here on my computer hard disk, but don't know how to share it with you...

I usually love their stuff, partiicularly their quirky disdain for motorhomes, but that was really not all that enjoyable to watch!

A German show could trash an British car of that vintage in response, except finding one that isn't completely rusted out and still running is a major problem!

Default Clarkson

Popular car program 'top gear' here in UK, Clarkson has never hidden his dislike of 911, and their lack of evolution over the years in his eyes, the spin off program where this originated, was geared towards his personal thoughts on a wide variety of cars, and US models came on for a fair bit of stick

On the lighter side, Top gear team have long been into the destruction of caravans 'Trailer homes'?
