Found this neat 76S a week or so ago. Second owner for the last twenty years. Newly rebuilt 89 3.2 Carrera engine along with a 915 from an 86. Light yellow. Owner says this is the original interior with the blue and black sport seats and blue carpets. I have never seen this combination before -- any one seen something similar?
Flying out to Seattle in a few weeks to get it and then driving home via Hwy 20 to Twisp, Okanogan, Spokane, Moscow, ID, Lolo Pass and then home.

Here I am at Luftgekulht, it is the event of the year for air cooled Porsches. The had space for 600 cars and once they posted registration info is sold out within hours. I was told they let in an extra 50 cars on Sunday (Think you had to know somebody or be driving a 73 RS or something). They also sold out their 4000 general admission tickets at $30 each and then ended up letting in an extra 1000 people on the day of the event. In their defense having never used the venue they weren't sure about capacity. Check out the pictures you can find on various sites covering the event and you'll be blown away by the breadth of cars present.

Our 82 SC checking out the new kid last Sunday.
I strolled the new and used lots and found two manual cars. I found none at the adjoining BMW lot. I know PDKs are "faster" but the lack of manual cars surprised me.

76S made it to the home front! It's a good one, 3.2 liter transplant gives it nice power.

Can someone please post up a picture of their 1969 Targa? I would love to see pics from an actual owner and learn more about it. Would like to learn the specs, issues, thrills, stories, and values. You guessed right if you're wondering why I'm asking.

A 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale and my 911SC at C&C two weeks ago. The F458 is three years old and has 1000 miles on it. Beautiful car owned by a nice guy who has a water cooled P-car, too. My 82 SC has almost 220 times the mileage and is still good looking to me.
