Question Piston/cylinder question

I picked up a set of pistons/cylinders from an old auto shop that that is closing down. I don't know exactly what they are but the price was right (FREE!). Crosshating still evident and no ridge at the top . The markings are as follows:

On the cylinders:
MAHLE D the D is followed by 2 dots.
95ZN1W 4 there are 2 plus signs(++) above the W

The pistons have no markings, though they are forged.

Just curious as to what I have had fall into my lap!

How can you take something as beautiful as a 911 and put something as pug-ugly as a pug in it? (For what it's worth, we just brought home a 7 week old pug yesterday.)

95 - sounds like 3.2 Carrera's -

if so - worth a few hundred $'s - call EBS Racing - they are always looking for Cylinders & pistons - they will tell you what they are worth.

Congrats on the newly arrived Pug. 24/7 comic relief and absolutely, totally untrainable! Even with that I wouldn't be without one.
I'll post some pics of the pistons/cyl's ASAP.
