Default Lost keys... what now?

I lost the keys for my 88 Coupe. I am locked out. Call Porsche dealer with VIN? Are there any other solutions? I am dreading the idea of having to change the door handles and the ignition switch

Dear Matteo,
According to Wayne R.Dempsey in his book "101 projects for your porsche 911" you cab re-key your lock to any other porsche key. It looks like taking out the locks and adjust the tumbler pins.
I would try the gove box lock first.

Good luck

I belive you can get another key through your Porsche dealer. Must supply VIN and proof of ownership of course.

If I recall correctly, my brother did so, as the key for his 77S was so worn, cutting a key from the original wasn't an option.

I'm sure a quick call would confirm/deny this.

Good luck
