I have a potential USA buyer for my 2017 Porsche 911 Targa 4S Canadian car. He contacted a customs broker near Vancouver and was told the following:

“He requires a letter of documentation from Porsche based on your VIN number. This letter documents the car was built consistent with US standards. He said I needed to get this from Porsche headquarters in Atlanta.”

I understand it is next to impossible to get that letter from Porsche headquarters in Atlanta.

Any assistance as to how to obtain the Letter of Conformity would be greatly appreciated!

You may want to post in the water-cooled 991 section. this forum is for the old air cooled cars which would all be imported under the 25+ year old requirements.
