Interesting.
I think if they stopped at about 80% on everything it could be pretty awesome. Just seems to over the top but I do like some of the individual items. Of course I am a fan of resto-mod so it sort of appeals to me anyways.

Humble naming it 918, and subtle, stamping that on every surface

nice steering wheel tho

It’ll sell, they just need to wait for that special person to win the PowerBall

It will certainly be "that" guy. He will also likely purchase a set of fossilized mammoth tusks to adorn the entryway into his ridiculously gaudy new house.

There is not another 1970 Porsche custom construction like this.

I see a molested tub with title. If the tub was a special factory color, it would be worth 10k for somebody to start over again.
I also see a motor that would be nice to have in a muscle car. 10k

$25k car.

It is amazing somebody actually kept running with this build and dug deeper in the hole of distaste.
Obviously somebody who had no business being around a porsche got their hands on it and created this abortion.
Would make a great example of what not to do at a trade school as a learning tool.
Bravo.

Another ruined long hood. This proves that money doesn’t buy class

I have zero issues with this car. If that is how you decide to spend a truck load of money so be it. Some of the interior choices and putting the Porsche emblem in 15 locations
to me was a waste of time and deminishes the build.

Didn’t say I have an issue with the car. I firmly believe that you are entitled to spend your dollars as you sit fit no matter what that means as long as it’s legal and doesn’t cause me daily annoyance.

But quite simply, this thing is so bad that it deserves to be shared. Now, if the interior were normal Porsche race car then I kinda like the exterior. But the sum of the whole is just terrible.

There is a YouTube video from SEMA ‘15 showing this thing in all its tacky glory (and lighting). Please watch and think how cool it could have been if it had been done more tastefully. What a budget.
