Default Porsche Extended Warranty experience?

Hi guys - does anyone have any experiences with Porsche Extended Warranties (Link here: https://www.porsche.com/usa/accessor...rotectionplan/ ) . Specifically the Vehicle Service Protection for used Porsches (after factory/cpo warranties)

Have heard that it doesn't cover things that would be counted as wear/tear (ie tires/brakes/ convertible roof tops) - which seems reasonable and similar to the normal factory / cpo warranty - but was wondering if there were any gotcha's / surprises that anyone here has experienced ? or did they feel like it was a pretty good coverage . experience for older/used porsches?

Thanks for sharing !

The fact that you have to pay for the extended warranty makes it an insurance and not a warranty!

It really depends how old the car is.

New car no unless your gonna keep it 10 years
Certified preowned yes once the warranty is up

Buy it when you buy the car but not after its alot more expensive like 10k

Do some math years ownership cost and warranty
Example keeping it 5 years and paying 5k for a warranty is fine

You can easily spend 2k a year

Yeah, but the original factory warranty is also insurance because the cost of it is baked into the MSRP. We pay for the manufacturer's warranty (insurance) on everything we buy.

I would say on a forum where warranty matters. Ours were up decades decades ago. In fact in the last century
