The car is here! And it does have the heart indent where the valve stem is. I'll pull one off later and get the date code.

Your car is trimmed out in a way that was very common on 69-71 911Ts in the States. It is equipped to look like an S. So you have the gauges, and the wheels, and if you look you at it have the wide S deco and bumperettes. A number of them actually got the sport seats as well, which unfortunately yours did not. But to the casual observer, other than the rear decklid badge, you car is going to look like an S. Sounds like like a nice survivor.

It would appear you have the matching date coded wheels.
Great car you have!

i am currently restoring two 1969 911T models and can appreciate a good original complete car.

Such a nice car.
Prototypo wheel, exhaust. H4 headlights. The color.

Great looking 911.

As those aluminum front calipers?

Thanks! It's way better than I was expecting to be honest. The calipers are not aluminum (or aluminium where I'm originally from).

It looks like a spectacularly good '69T. Congratulations! It has obviously been repainted; that color is not 1969 tangerine. There are a few other things, none too major. I wish my tangerine '69T had been as good before I started restoring it 4 years ago I began with no seats at all!

All the other Tangerine cars I've looked at are this exact color. The paint code is Ditzler PPG 60541.

@GTgears To be honest, I don't know what that means. Could you tell me?

The deco is the rubber and aluminum trim that runs around the front bumper, along the running boards, and around the rear bumperettes. The S version is about twice as wide and tall on the rubber. It was very common with the other S trim upgrades your car has. It is pretty much standard on a car that has the bumperettes option, which your car is missing even though it's on the COA. It looks like whomever repainted/restored it did it as if it was a generic T and may have not have had the COA when they put the car together. At the end of the day it has very little impact on either value or enjoyment of the car.

Sorry; looks more tangerine on a different computer screen. There are other inconsistencies in the trim, but who cares? Its a great looking car. If you are going to change anything, the drivers seat would be first.

Agreed. They are only original once. Once that's been altered, changing it back with respect to every last detail has very little impact on value, but costs money to do. It's a nice car. I would drive it just like it sits and have a great time with it.

I actually have the original driver's seat, steering wheel, door cards, all in fantastic condition, even the original exhaust. I'm torn between putting the stock seat back in (the one in it is a GT Classics Sport S 5703). It might look better with the stock seat in there.
