Looking for exhaust options for a 1984 911 3.2L
I am looking for options to replace the stock exhaust on a 1984 911. I have seen Billy Boat, Fabspeed, and SSI/Dansk. I want to replace the headers (with heat exchanger), cat bypass, and mufflers. Looking for good HP gains.

I didn't go as big as you are looking to do, so I did Brombacher Cat bypass, Dansk Sport muffler, in my '87 911. Very happy.
Likely you will get many reccos for the SSI, appear to be a solid choice.

SSI's are good for a 3.0 engine , with your 3.2 it's preferable to go with something that has a 1 5/8 diameter.I've got Fabspeed headers with the heater boxes
on my 89 ad i'm very happy. They are pricey if you buy new but a set does come out in the classifieds occasionally.
Better chances of finding something in the Pelican classifieds forum a there is a big 911 following ...

There is a thread on Pelican detailing someone’s install - he’s a very happy customer.
Google “Bigger SSIs”

As for not yet being in production, Im not sure i understand as I have a set of their F Modell ‘bigger ssis’ in my possession, and the G modell version has been fitted by at least 2 people I’m aware of.

A benefit of the Fabspeed headers is that they also fit on a 3.6 due to their flange design , so you can also look on the 964 and 993 classifieds for a used setup.
I purchased their complete system for my 3.2 and then after i swapped a 95 3.6 and i was very happy that they fit !
MK is also well regarded , i had one of their cat bypass pipes on my 3.2 and i was a work of art.

You are right about Brian. I just had a great conversation with him. I have been looking at FabSpeed and now M&K. Thank you for the tip.

Thanks for all the correspondences. I can’t say enough about the people on Rennlist. Love hearing from people that understand other Porsche owners. We are a different breed, in a good way.
