Hi everyone, im updating my taillights to 964 style and i wanted to how to wire my 3.2 lights to the 964 harness and make them work

The 3.2 harness has: brown(ground), black/white, black/yellow, grey/red, and grey/brown



The 964 taillight harness is a circular female plug with 4 connections, top, bottom, left and right. The top has a brown and brown/white wire, the right is blue, left is black, and bottom has a grey/red and red wire.


Does anyone know how the wires should be hooked up? Any help is appreciated! Thank you.

Brown is ground.... you may need to look at both electrical schematics, but a DIN wiring chart could help; the numeric codes all mean something too

oh ok, any idea why the 964 has an extra brown/white wire that is joined with the usual brown ground?
