911T Roadtrip
Hello,
Just wanted to share someshots from my trip. About 10 years ago I was searching for a 1991 Acura NSX and managed to find one in California. I quickly booked a one way flight flew down there and drove it 2500 miles back to Toronto where I live. It was an amazing trip. Fast forward 8 years later and I developed an air cooled itch. Picked up a 1990 964 which was a lot of fun but had to part with it as I was about to become a new father.
The itch never really went away and I started looking again. This time for something a bit older. I became obsessed with finding a 1972-1973 911 T. Something that wasnt perfect but soemthign I could drive and enjoy. I soon realized I was not going to find a great car from flippers and dealers and BaT ads. It was through friends of friends and the great community on these boards. I had a very short list and narrowed it down to one I could afford and seemed to have the best records and PPI.
I made my way down to Florida, met soem amazing ppl and had a blast driving the perfect little 911 1300 miles back home. I get it now, this little 1972 911 T is so special. I am smitten.
