Keyless entry Luggage Compartment Lid
#2
I just picked up my 2018 Porsche Carrera.
It has the keyless entry system and to open the luggage compartment lid using the keyless entry system you have to go to the front of the car with the electronic key in your pocket, and place your hand under the front badge.
The problem is that if I get to three feet of the front of the car the compartment opens. This is pretty inconvenient.
The tech I spoke to at the dealers was baffled saying the issues they have is the compartment not opening not this.
Anyone else has had this issue? Would the proximate sensor be programable? and last but not least if the unit needs replacement how is it accessed? Do not want the front part of my car torn apart as yet.
Thanks
