Default ATE brake fluid

I am in the process to do a brake flush and my last container of ATE is a Super Blue Racing DOT 4. Searching the internet I notice there are other ATE DOT4 brake fluids such as Amber, SL,and 200. Will any of these ATE I mentioned work?
Do I have to stick with ATE, can I go with Pentosin Super DOT4.

My last question is I need a small rubber hose to attach the brake caliper nipple for the bleed. What size and where would I purchase the hose?
Thanks

People used to flush the blue and fill with amber and vice versa, guess you knew when all the fluid was changed ...
For what it's worth , i used the ATE brake fluid in my 911 for extensive track days and never had issues, now i use Motul in the race car
but the ATE will be fine for everyday use !

real issue is whether this older brake fluid is in a sealed can or not?

if it was opened I'd buy new and use that

Yes, all brake fluid in the US is now amber - apparently a severe moron infestation caused sufficient problems that brake fluid must now be a single color

When the ban on ATE SuperBlue in the USA was announced, I bought a big stock of it for my racecar. I still do alternate flushes, ATE Superblue and Motul RBF600. Blue-yellow.

The motul RBF600 has specs that say it's a much better product but does anyone feel a big difference? I went from the ATE to the Motul for my last track day and really couldn't tell. Maybe...maybe the Motul held up a little better but I'm probably just imagining that.

Brake fluid choices "can" be subjective. There are certainly numbers available to compare products. However - Ive used ATE on track for years without a single failure or overheating issue. My .02

I am not doing track days with this particular Carrera, but I do like to be able to purchase a DOT4 that is a different colour than what's in there presently, as this tells me when all the old fluid is out.

They're all amber now by law. Not much to be done about that one.

Works for me because my fluid is clear.
