Default Help ID??

Hi everyone. Please forgive me, I am well aware this may be in the wrong place, only because I don’t yet know where to put it. Can you please help me identify year and model. I have a chance to pick this up this weekend but I’m not sure exactly what it is. The guy I’m getting it from doesn’t know much about it. Thank you very much. It would be awesome to pick this up!

From this pic it could be a few things.
Ask the guy for the chassis number and the engine number. From those you can easily find out what it should be.......or was.

Good luck

Literally all of the specific identifying year/model characteristics are obscured in this out-of-focus photo. Other than its being a Porsche 911 or 912, 1972 or earlier (based on the steel wheels) there isn't anything one can say. Looks to be a rust bucket.

Thanks guys. Yea I know it’s a bad picture but it’s the only one they supplied me. I’ll know more when I take a look at it.

you ARE in the right place tho, no matter what it is or even if the steelies were put on a later MY car...

and... chrome window surrounds means it must be a 911 or 912 from 1960s to 1970s

Definitely pre-1969. Coupes only had opening front vent windows through 1968 I think.
