Chrome window trim is awesome, wish my car had it! If you blacked yours out, you'd need to do the door handles, engine grille and headlight rings as well. Don't do it.
Never been a fan of over-the-roof stripes though... too many Civics and Corollas with them pretending to be Dodge Vipers.

Yeah but in this particular case the stripes fit very very well with the rest of the car imo. I reiterate my 2 cents for not changing a thing.

worst thing is those fugly big bumpers - get rid of those first
....easiest and cheapest is to dip the wheels in black to cover the orange & replace the center caps - or mask & spray them black

If it's a real racecar, keep the meatball. If it is not a real racecar, perhaps consider that those of us who are actual race drivers wonder why would someone drive around in a street car that pretends to be a racecar?
