My car is right at 1150kg and 200RWHP and it scares most passengers. Can't imagine more HP on the street. OK, ya I can.

Building a 2.5SS for my car. 200-225 is fine imo.

Too much is never enough. I picked 350-400 because it's the highest option on the poll. My car's around 1100 kg and 300 hp and could use more power.

With the 95 3.6 i installed, i figure with the Fabspeed headers and the SW custom chip i'm pretty close to 285 hp and it feels
much better than the stock 217 hp from my 3.2 engine.

But what's your curb weight? My 74 started life around 1100kg, whereas your 89 would have been up over 1300. Have you lightened the car?

Yes i lightened the car when i was doing doing DE's with it ... fiberglass front and rear bumpers, fiberglass front decklid and rear hatch with RS spoiler as well as RS doorcards.
It's now returned back to street use after i bought a dedicated race car.Although i did keep all the original parts so everything was reversible !

I know I'm going off at a tangent... does 10:1 sound safe for a 2.4/2.7?

The 2.8RSR would probably be a lot of fun on a track w/ weight /power ~6.6 but a 991GT3RS is ~6.2 which is going to be more fun and where?

My blue car is ~8.6, silver ~9.5 both are a lot of fun but one is more fun on a track(largely due ip suspension and gearing) and the other more fun on the street(largely due of the Targa top)

My 2.5 twin plug is 225 HP at the flywheel and the car weighs 1025kg. Cam and engine set up provide a flat, fun torque curve from 3300-5500 rpms.
