You got that right. Even still, its amazing how many people buy all kinds of stuff for all the wrong reasons. After I got my SC, I had friends telling me about how crazy I was to leave all that power behind. They just don't get it. If you talk to commercial jet pilots, they will go on and on about how much more fun flying is when you are in a simple single prop (think CUB) going low and slow. Modern cars almost drive themselves, and the kind of power they are putting into these things goes way beyond most drivers abilities. Whatever floats your boat I guess, but for me, the classic 911 blows them all away.

Of course a classic 911 can also be a supercar

ALSO.. quick question.. what do you guys regularly take your RPMs to ? Seems like the best sounds come after 4000 ... I am still learning how to really drive this car, so should I be winding out the gears? Whats a safe high point?

Redline. But that’s after it’s fully warmed up. I don’t do it in my neighbourhood tho. I usually shift at 5500 if I’m not really “ on it”

Hi Scott,
Yep, I agree a 911 is better than a super car. I am retired and use my 1929 Chevy as my daily driver and my 83 911SC as my super car.

Hi Sher,
I flew Airliners for most of my adult life and yes, it is great flying large airplanes all over the world. However flying our Piper Cub or our Tiger Moth around the patch was the best flying ever.
