Anyone know the proper K&N air filter and pipe that will fit an '89 G50 3.2?

Are you looking for the K&N that fits in the stock airbox or are you wanting to go to a cone filter?

I've played around with the stock BMW MAF adapter for the 3" cone filter and have again give up on the idea for now. Just this morning I've swapped in my next set of experimental fuel injectors and put the stock airbox back on. There may be an adapter available on Ebay or some such that is long enough but the BMW one is just too short.

Yes- I was wanting to go with the cone filter. Saw the one on Pelican, but it doesn't get good reviews. I've done the poor-man's version by drilling holes in the stock box- it gives a nice improvement in sound. May just need to stay happy with that

The cone filter is good for about 5 HP. I'd just go buy a Steve Wong chip and start down the 'delete delete delete' path if all I wanted was 5 HP.

Wong chip, bisimoto pulse wave muffler, and a cat-bypass. And a BMC filter.
