Hi Ivan, thanks. What do you mean by a stop on the bracket? Is your photo above have the Omega spring flipped like mine was? Btw, I have a receipt from the PO of clutch, flywheel, pilot bearing, release bearing tube assembly replaced in 2006 at 90k miles.Gear oil was changed at 76k.

the bracket is the one on transmission where the Omega spring shaft rests. On picture is a little part of it holding by 2 phillips screw .If the L shape bracket is bend the omega spring will go too far therefore the big play on your adjustment we can see.Between the adjusting screw and the arm.
One more thing The nut should be on the other side of the arm...the nut is usually place behind the arm when the clutch disc gets smaller and you cannot adjust it any further. So the people who did your clutch did not put it back to front of the arm.Once you do it you will have more place to screw the adjustment bolt toward the little finger.

looks ok to me it goes over the bracket but stops with the shaft of the o spring. So now we know that we know nothing until you readjust the clutch and let me know
ivan
btw how did it go looking at your cross-shaft position??

position compare the picture i have sent you .With pedal all the way forward the cross shaft must look like on my pic...
Then try to adjust the clutch a step on it.The collapse you had is not normal so we have to find the reason

Hi Ivan, ok, once I get the new cable I will install and adjust and see how it measures out and reacts to fully engaging the pedal. I should have the new cable today or tomorrow. Thanks again.

Yes Ivan we checked that yesterday as I had the exact issue if you remember. It's on the stop and not resting against the exchanger.
It was odd that we still have about 3mm in the pic. That's not encouraging.

Hi as i explained above ..he needs to move the nut from behind the arm to in front of the arm....then he could adjust the play with no problem...
Ivan
And one more thing ...do not forget to take the arm off and lubricate everything it is dry as Sahara.Clean inside the arm with sandpaper and then lube.Mainly the Omega spring needs some oil soaking

Hi Ivan, I installed the new cable. I made a video and sent to iceman, pending response. The clutch pedal is about 2 inches lower than the brake pedal. I don't know if this is working properly. I had to stick a small piece of wood behind the cross arm or I couldn't connect the cable to the clutch pedal lever at the front. That is such a tight area its tough to get the pin into the trunnion.

Randy I saw the video. But I have a few questions. Did you do as ivan suggested and move the lock but on the bolt to the opposite side of the arm ? Then adjust your gap to 1.2mm with the arm in the rest position ?
Did you then adjust the nuts on the cable so the gap closed to 1.0 mm ( this actually sets your clutch pedal height )
Did you then adjust the stopper on the wood board that goes over the pedal assembly so you have 1 inch of travel on the cable.
?

Hi Ivan, I have removed the cross arm to inspect and lubricate. It looks normal and dropped down from the shaft no problem. A washer was also above it when I pulled it off. I have attached a few photos. I have the old cable which shows to be ok back on. The new Cofle cable is being shipped back, the quality was not good.
