Center cap renewal (or improvement)

After seeing 75ohm's thread on center cap renewal I decided to give mine a shot as they had to layers of paint and looked nasty while my wheels are polished.

Original thread:

Supplies
-Small allen wrench for cap removal
-Paint stripper
-alloy polish (if needed)
-painters tape
-pocket knife (for detail work)
-Testors #1244 metallic gold spray enamel
-Testors red enamel paint marker
-Testors black enamel paint marker
-Duplicolor high performance clear wheel coating

Steps
1)Remove old paint and dirt with paint striper, the cleaner the better.
2)Tape around emblem, overspray/paint doesn't look good.
3)Apply testors metallic gold paint. I did 2-3 coats and let dry for 24 hours.
4)Now apply tesors pen paints to the appropriate stripes and details. The porsche emblem changed over the years to where the brand lettering was painted black. I chose not to as it would be easier and fit my car's age.
5)Let paint dry and apply clear coat to make these last a while. I did 3 coats. Keep in mind each coat makes the metallic paint look less metallic.
