Default TT Foam question

Morning all,

I finally got the replacement foam for the TT (to combat the hot air through the console). I have confirmed with Roger that is this is the part I need (89 S4 Auto). I know it is supposed to be 2 pieces foam, but it came like this (1 piece)...so I am hoping that this is just the 2 pieces glued together?!?!??

Question, what kind of glue should be used to glue the foam in place? Where should the glue be applied? In previous threads i have read that using glue is the way to secure in in place. Please correct me if this is not the best application.

Thanks

Ken

Its held together by two bits of tape on top at each end. Other than that, there's no glue - it just sits on top of the TT and is held in place by the tunnel and the TT (the tape is largely to hold the left and right side pieces together while lifting up the TT).
