I just won auctions for a set of Thule Rapid Tracker II feet and Rapid Aero 43 bars. I think I actually need the 47" bars. Does anyone have this set, and can you tell me what bars it uses and how much 'play' there is (i.e.: will the 43" bars work at all, or should I dive back into the bay?).
Also: there's a Yakima Rocketbox near me for $100. Does anyone know if that can be made to work with the Thule Aero rack?
Thanks!

Shawn--
I have the Thule Universal Pull Top 6 on mine. Nice unit, which has a slide out feature so you don;t have to reach to the top of the truck to load or unload the gear. http://www.thule.com/en/US/Products/...ull%20Top.aspx

They will work. Measured mine in my office-it's 38 1/2" from outside of bracket to outside of bracket. You should have just enough room to put the little caps on the ends of the bars when installed.
They will not be long enough to clear the air diffuser if you purchase that

That's exactly the set up that I have on our Cayenne. I use it with a Thule ski rack, and it works perfectly. I actually prefer the look of the Thule set to the OEM set.
