Default JCR Exhaust

Holy ****! I just drove all afternoon, top-down, in my Spyder with the JCR exhaust on and I can't believe how great it sounds. Hands-down the best exhaust I've ever had on any car. The sound is insane! Will try to post a better video/sound clip later as this does NOT do it justice. I one hundred per cent think this exhaust is totally worth it! Not to mention that Jonny is great to deal with. Excellent customer service. Thanks, JCR-Porsche.

Sounds great, is that the silenced or non silenced version! I can't wait to get mine from JCR. About how long did it take to get yours?

non silenced. Was really quick. A matter of weeks I think. Top notch service.

This exhaust has ruined me for all other exhausts. I want jcr exhausts on all my vehicles
Now!

Did you plug in the valves or not? I have the same JCR exhaust with valves disconnected and I do get a light drone between 2000 and 3000rpms.

Indeed I think it is a great rear exhaust silencer. On this non-silent version, isn't it too loud for long, quiet trips? with the valves closed the sound is still reduced?

Not too loud for me. The Spyder isn’t a quiet car to begin with. It’s not a grand touring vehicle. I’m also a biker who is used to loud motorcycles and I’ve had custom exhausts on all my Porsches and I’ve never felt any of them were too loud so maybe I’m the wrong person to ask.

Thanks. Do you also get a light drone below 3000rpm with valves closed and Spyder top up?
I noticed with top down almost no drone.

Yes, mild drone. Nothing major.

I might plug the valves in to test. Agree with you that the sound is fantastic and not obnoxious.
