Default photo book of your build

In case you're interested in ordering the photo book of your build, I was quoted 1790 Euros. I guess the price didn't change from the last time this topic was brought up. I guess at current rates that translates to $2044.50. This is not through CXX or Exclusive. There is a note on the order form that says "the order form must be sent not later than 4 weeks after the car configuration."

Here is a link to a thread that mentions the photo book. Go to post #30 and #40. https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...errerid=243681

I inquired about this back in the early part of the year, long before my build but was told that it was not available due to Covid-19 considerations...

The contact didn't say anything about it not being available so I'm guessing it's good to go now. Would you have purchased it?

I made the inquiry before I found out the price, $1790 Euro is nearly $3000 of the dollars I earn, so as much as it would have been great to have I would have passed at that price.

But you still need to spend some sort of minimum amount of dollars in CXX to qualify, correct?

In the world of ludicrous Porsche pricing, that takes the cake. But hey, to each their own. Does make the leather bound fuse box cover seem like quite the deal though.

It's my understanding that this is not through CXX so the $3000 minimum doesn't apply.

And double that for pre-tax earnings.

If I get a PTS car or some crazy CXX options, I would do it.

You got that right, TBH I try not to think about that because if I did I wouldn't have bought the car in the first place...

Even without any Cxx options the book would be cool, a real neat chapter of the build of your car.

Does anyone have a link or pictures to an example of the photo book?

I agree it’s a lot of money, but I’m planning for my next Porsche to be a “keeper” car for the rest of my life and if done well the photo book could be a pretty awesome keepsake.

That is a cool option, but a bit pricy. I would have taken it if cheaper, and maybe they would sell more... but then again, do they want to sell more of these? "Haaah come on another photographer, it's the 10th time this morning! You're slowing me down! I have to pose for you while I install my ?&*() door sill this is ridiculus! Where is the Union guy!" says the guy on the assembly line!
