Thanks! Total loop for me that day was this. The best parts are the section along Hells Canyon between Baker City, OR and Cambridge, ID.

As I've said before bwhip, just WOW! And you added to it! Sent you a join request for your IG. I'm c_wgt4
And man, I thought we had it made with the Texas Hill Country...super jealous! We've a corporate office in Boise...hmm. Wonder if I could figure out an excuse to ship my car up there and go on that route!

-Cheers amigo and I'm glad you joined the "club" and this forum! I came from a '16 and then '17 M3 myself

Thanks very much! I’m looking forward to many fun and scenic rides this season, with many photos along the way!

what kind of cameras and lenses are you using? I'm gonna have to head up that way, only 7 hours from home, looks beautiful!

On this trip, I mostly used my DJI Mavic Air 2 drone, the one inside the car was a GoPro Hero 7 Black, and others were with Canon R5, with RF 15-35mm f/2.8.

Thanks very much! Put the winter wheels/tires on this past weekend, and went for a little drive or two to get them scrubbed in. Of course, had to bring the camera along just in case. The new wheels give the car a little different look (silver vs. black). Glad to have both options!

Stunning roads and scenery...it makes me really miss my mountain escapes which are closed or too snow covered until Spring. Even the direct sun is helping you here with these photos...GT Silver is such a great color! I look forward to more photos.

Jeff

Bwhip, those wheels look great. What brand are they and what tires are you using on them?

Thanks! Those are the OZ Leggera HLT. Remarkably great price compared to others I like, from Tire Rack. Offset on the front is slightly different than OEM, but it is the closest they make (55 mm vs 61), and it's close enough. Rear is same as OEM at 50mm. They're really nice wheels, same weight as OEM, and finish is super slick which makes cleaning very easy. Tires are Michelin PS4S, in same sizes as OEM (which in my case were Dunlop Sport Maxx Race II's). Tire Rack shipped them here fully mounted with caps, TPMS, etc., for a very good price.

This car loves twisty mountain roads - but it looks pretty great in the city too
