Anything but black works for me given the car already has so many black vents and scoops and splitters. But heck- call me cheap, I'd even take a black one. PDLS gives the front end a much more modern look too.
The color I need to see in person is the Arctic Grey.... It seems to photograph very differently in different lighting and with different color correction. I love the color in some images, but not so much in other images.
eg, three vastly different renditions of the same Arctic Grey color.
...and while I love looking at the bright 'gumball' colors in greens and oranges, ultimately not for me. In PTS, I think Grigio Teslato would be my choice... A better grey with the carbon fiber and black details than Arctic Grey, hey only an additional $13K!
Obviously this is a 2RS not a 4RS, but shows the color in contrast with lots of carbon, should look very similar on the 4.
Undecided on Arctic Grey as well. I’ve got a chalk now and didn’t really consider AG as I wasn’t looking for another non-metallic color. Looking forward to seeing one in the flesh though.
Dark color/carbon/yellow accents does looks great.
Grigio is gorgeous and if I ever get back on allocation for my GT3 may order that.. and that comparo of SB w/o WP and w/ is exactly why I didn't order PTS.. you had to get (to me ) all of that ugly carbon
fiber hood/etc.. all I wanted was the RT interior.. thanks for locating these images.. keep it coming..
I’m in Aus, we are getting GT4 / 4RS builds and deliveries right now and throughout the second half of the year. I saw the list at the dealer last week. 1 Boxster S, 6 GT4, 10 GT4RS leading till December.
didn’t see a single GTS or Spyder…

on topic: I’ve seen a very low take up of the blue wheels and think that could lead them long term to be rare and desirable as it is very very specific to this model, possibly 3RS has the same wheels, making them even more special. Perhaps in the same way red wheels was an option on 997 GT3 RS.
Interesting as I ordered the blue wheels with the launch colour arctic grey and the ship leaves Bremerhaven 14 August for Australia with my car onboard. Funny you mentioned the 997 GT3RS. I had that one with the red wheels. What deliveries of GT4RS are you hearing about in Australia? And I thought they had stopped taking orders for GT4?

They have stopped taking orders for all 718s and 911s according to the dealer principal, but that doesn’t mean orders made before this stoppage are cancelled. I’m expecting a December 22 build and I ordered my GT4 late 2021.
For sake of argument, cars like the SC and 3RS are offered, not ordered…
This one is interesting. A ton going on that takes a second and third look to pick up on. Claimed to be CXX optioning. If it is all actually factory customization a ton was spent on this car for some details most will not pick up on. Interesting car nonetheless.

A bit unusual to put $$$$$ into all the special wish customizations, but neither a paint-to-sample color or Weissach package?
Adventurine green works pretty well with GT Silver, on the exterior especially. A tad too much of it inside.
The hood/roof/spoiler GT2 style 'striping' looks awesome, I think even better than with the Weissach exposed carbon hood and the GT stripe... That way you can have uniform colors for the center 'stripe' out outer portions consistent on the hood, roof, and spoiler. Perhaps why they chose to not do weissach?
In comparison to a GT silver 4RS with Weissach and no CXX striping, wow does it look better! Actually makes me consider dropping the weissach and having this style hood/roof/spoiler GT2 style striping done locally. I really like the carbon window scoops and the race-tex dash with the weissach, but on the exterior, I think the non weissach actually looks better.
