I have a MY25 GT4RS that was supposed to start production on 9/10 but started on 9/12 instead. Originally quoted to finish production on 10/4 but moved up 2 days to 10/2 on TYD. It is a PTS build with Weissach, PCCB, Mag wheels, LED headlights, FAL, and a bunch of other goodies. So far so good but will update if there are delays. I am scheduled to pick up in Stuttgart for ED this December.
If you are looking for better weather a quick run to Monaco in December will get you 45-65 degrees, and the best sunshine hours in Europe....
From there, you could head to Sothern Italy again for no/little snow on the Autoroutes... The Dolomites are scary enough in July, let alone December!
Or, perhaps a run through Austria, Northern Italy to Croatia, great roads, weather in Northern Italy can be changeable...
I have done ED out of both Zuffenhausen and Leipzig, and I lived in Monaco for 10 yr, there are good options a little further South.
EU requirements for "snow tires or chains" have changed recently, Porsche should be able to get you a set of plastic lugs if required...
Feel free to DM me if you have any questions...
Have a great time!!

I wouldn't dare go anywhere that required chains lol. If they did I'd just turn around and head another way.
What would you recommend through North Italy and Croatia? I've been to Split and Dubrovnik but nowhere else in Croatia. And I visited Lake Como a few months ago. Would love to see some neighboring areas too! Thanks again!!!

Thanks so much for sharing! Yeah it seems like the coastal and southern cities so much better with maintaining a more moderate climate through the winter months. Southern Italy would be ideal but I'm only going to be in Europe for 2 weeks so that may be a logistical challenge from Stuttgart 😅.

Porsches are pretty good in the snow with winter tires.
If you go towards Croatia, I would still recommend winter tires, and you can go down to Montenegro for example.
If you don't want/cannot get winter tires, one option is to beeline towards Spain/Portugal, and return the car in Madrid. Of course, any of the mountainous areas in Spain may still have a chance of getting snow. So stay as far south as possible.

Definitively get the winter tires if you plan to drive in any of these areas in December. However, unless you get stuck at the top of a pass, the roads are normally cleared within a day or two and you can continue in your journey. Basic recommendations are: Stay flexible, don't rush, and if you get stuck due to snow, enjoy the snow break.

Woah, car just finished today, V300!
Sounds like ED is going to have to be another day.

I was in the same batch of production as you and ended up with Cup 2's. Guess I 'won the tire lottery' this time around.
