I did not do it myself. Jimmy Repasi of Repasi Motorwerks did it for me because he kept finding a cumbersome heated seat cover albatross I had in my CGT whenever he serviced it. He kept telling me I was going to bust the glove-box door where the cig lighter is “conveniently” located in a cgt. I told him I NEED MY HEATED SEATS in an open top. He had added heat to 918 seats before once before and did the same with my 980’s. I saw the material he used and it’s the same thing oem guys used for heated seats. It’s just a matter of getting it between the fabric and cushion. It comes with a high/low switch for both sides. I might be able to dig up and PM you some information. Man, I LOVE it. The alternative are the $20 heated seat covers on amazon . If I do go with any seats that have no heat in any open top, I will beg him to do it for that car or at least have him show me.

I’m not afraid to ride top off w/coat, stocking cap, gloves and seat heaters blasting. Honestly, I might prefer that to a sunny/warm day. Which is why I am curious about this sun shade thingy. I love being outdoors in crisp weather. I love cars. Why it took me so long to convert to a convertible guy idk why. I think because I lived in houston TX for 20yrs and windows down driving season is limited let alone top off. I became a drop top guy in the UK where it’s always cloudy but relatively mild. I got spyder bitten over there and have been an open top fan ever since. I think warm/sunny climates being convertible-land is mis-placed. 80 and sunny had me pulling over to put on the top this friday. 60’s and sun-down took it off again.
I’ll pm you with info when I talk to Jimmy next.

I own a 4RS, the car is only really loud during the 8-9k unique "frequency" that it exabits. Under 4k rpm its extremely easy to have a conversation and isn't any different than another RS type product.
Anyone saying the 4RS is too loud is a baby and shouldn't be owning an RS product. The car is stiffer than the 992 GT3 or 991.2 GT3RS I drove though.

To be frank, I don't like the "frequency" thing, not because it is loud, but because it is noisy... as a matter of fact I'm seriously thinking about a little bit more open exaust

Catchpole / Bovington are great reviewers, I feel like they bounce around so much it’s hard to figure out where they are.

What's there to review about the SRS? It's softer than the 4RS, has the same drivetrain, practically the same weight, but is a drop top. What more can an A-lister car reviewer say about it than what your brain can imagine?

Is the angle. I have to be able to lean my seat back 20 degrees.
I have tried some of the LWB seat inserts that others have used with success in their LWB as it does give you another 10 degrees, but just not enough for my spine, unfortunately.

Buckets only for the SRS. Come on, no RS is a daily.
Plus they come free, and cost $10k after market. No brainer.
