Porsche got sick of all you complaining and decided to drop the roof altogether. You will now just get a fancy Porsche umbrella. 🙄

You may laugh, but I was thinking about how effective keeping umbrellas in the car might be. (after seeing that clip on insta)

Oh also want to add... It's a PDK so you can hold the umbrella. 😂

Windows down would be more dangerous than roof down.

Congrats.

Would you be kind enough to share with us please what your dealer has told you about allocations and expected production?

For example- have you simply configured the car for the expected allocation or does the dealer actually have the allocation? If allocation, when is build date? If not, did the dealer advise when production is expected to begin?

Obviously cars for Europe get going before those for the US, so we here in the US could benefit from some information since the latest information here at this time is allocations have not been given to the dealers yet.

Unless someone here in the US knows otherwise — please share contrary information from your dealer.

If its in the US, either its one of the few 918 slots or a v070 demand order (not v200). I think regular people slots released late summer or fall. First deliveries spring 24.

His configuration is European — he provided a build link, and his profile says his location is Germany.

Puts them somewhere around the Belgium/Germany border, considering those tracks are about 160km apart. Not a US order.

Not sure why you posted this — from my post I imagine you could see I clearly knew his configuration was European — which is why I asked him to help us folks in the US with some information.

Unless they do allocations differently in Europe it doesn’t sound like an allocation. Allocation = Build Date.

In another thread states fall, or maybe we request early, or maybe we just wait till spring.

That’s not an allocation I’m familiar with.

My dealer expects “winter” allocations to arrive later this summer. Winter allocation dates equate to NA Spring Deliveries.

I like this spec- thanks for sharing. I think I will go similar if an allocation is forthcoming. Otherwise I was going launch spec, but am fearful too many will be done in Vanadium Grey.
