Agree, though it also needed to be offered with manual.

Anything with "RS" name will be PDK.
I recall Porsche saying the amount of warranty claims with manual were much higher in GT cars compared to GT cars with PDK.
The question is, will they make a non RS GT4 and non RS Spyder in 2024, and if so, will they too get the 992 GT3 motor?

No one ever complained about the original Viper having no top. But then again it had a manual trans, no exterior door handles and was a Dodge.

Probably not for mere mortals but we still dream

A good amount is track time.
The synchro from 2->3 went out.
The first indication is 3rd being a little loose and then it not holding a gear shift from second when doing at flat shift at ~9k rpm.
When it first starts being an issue, you can’t tell on street driving. Eventually it goes bad and you hear grinding. There is also a little glitter in the fluid.

Nothing wrong with the clutch. PAG doesn’t let the dealer open up the box. It’s a complete trans swap.

Any chance you might bypass the synchros altogether by executing double clutch downshifts (and maybe even upshifts)?
I personally never utilize the synchromesh on a downshift. Every downshift is a double clutch downshift - synchromesh bypassed.

This may be why Flat Shift wasn't offered in the regular 718 GT4/SPYDER with manual transmission.
