The cleaning lady I know has been providing me with reliable information through the past years. She informed me that the Spyder RS will be launched in May and the 911 ST in July.

Though not favorable as the debut for this has been long overdue, May does makes more sense than April.
Why? Because April will be focused primarily on the new Cayenne. Porsche has already stated debut is April for the new Cayenne... and they have been building up the launch for it. Heck, dealers already have their allocations for the new Cayenne.
SRS is so dragged out... not sure it it was intentional or something out of their control? We may never know.
The sad thing is when it does launch... will we be underwhelmed because of the long drawn out release. We all know it's just a drop top Spyder 4RS... some hope for more... but disappointment with some is almost certain. Whether it be lack of manual, the manual 987 roof, the fact the Spyder purity has been disrupted. I expect some to state it was a lazy exercise because they simply slapped parts together. One thing is for sure, there will be lots of noise no matter which side of your POV is.
Time will tell... we have no choice! Ha!

No new scuttle, no new rumors, are all of the cleaning ladies on vacation, heck we aren't even arguing about the name anymore, Spyder RS, RS Spyder or Spyder 4RS?

Everything has dried up info wise... Even DPC Cars is recycling stuff and releasing it as if it's new info😫
It's been a long 20 months... especially when you consider there has only been 4 different test cars photographed. Of which only one on the ring. I get it, less testing needed as it's basically a 4RS... which I think makes the wait even more wearing.
Should have debut the same time or a year after at the latest from the 4RS.

Just as I suspected and others have stated... Spyder RS will not debut on week 16 (April for that matter). There is an event that week... just not for the SRS. April 18th is the official debut of the updated Cayenne. So May it is... adds more time to ease the price increase hurt!

Totally forgot that week is the Shanghai Motor Show. Thus your comment.

So there is still a chance? Maybe a 50/50 shot?
