ohh in a way I think that kind of sucks that AGM is still available and there is no brown shade at all to go with it anymore. I'm so glad I was able to get cognac/espresso.

I think had that been available i might have been ok not having any Racetex, but as is i'm happy with my choice.
I have Espresso full leather in my 981S and get constant compliments on it. I would order it again if it was available...

Truffle brown was the color I wanted. Not sure if it's because they switched manufacturing plants for Cayman. Still offered for 911.

In Canada - especially Quebec we are also heavily taxed on personal income tax. The highest bracket is almost 54%. Also on top of the luxury tax we also pay 15% sales tax.

Ordered my car October 26th, 2023, and picked it up today! I feel extremely fortunate for the timeline on my car and couldn't be more in love with it. Drove it straight to a close friends PPF and Detail shop, but can't wait to drive it for real. The break in period is going to be painful! Video is 480p so it would upload. Hope everyone has a good experience ordering and receiving their dream cars!

I had a nice, long story typed up, but the post didn't go through unfortunately, so I will make a cliff note version!
After driving the Cayman GTS at PEC Atlanta, I was sold on the car, it far exceeded my expectations! First time driving a Porsche, the only other sports cars that I have driven were BMWs and a Camaro, this car really was everything that I had hoped for from a mid engine chassis! I was surprised that I did not really care for the rear engine Carerra S after driving it at PEC, and I am glad that I decided to take a look at the Cayman.
After a follow up call, I got lucky that 3 people in front of me at my local dealer did not want the allocation that they were waiting for, so it fell to me!
The only option that I wish they had was ventilated CF bucket seats, but I will just deal with the back sweat as it comes!
My build is a stripper spec build that would have been more suitable for a GT4, planning to drive the car primarily on back roads and at the racetrack/Autocross

Hi folks, I just got on the waiting list to receive a Boxster GTS allocation. I was pleasantly surprised this week to learn that the long backlogs that existed in 2021/2022 have evaporated.
I'm told it may take 3 to 6 months for my allocation to be released to the dealership. Could anyone tell me when the model year typically transitions (e.g., MY 2024 to MY 2025)? The reason I'm asking is that Aventurine Green is the only color I'm really interested in. With that option having been recently discontinued for the 992 models, I'm hoping it'll still be around by the time my Boxster build is locked. I recognize that Porsche is pretty random about how it takes things away, but I suspect there's more risk of color palette changes coinciding with the transition to a new model year. If the 2025 model year doesn't begin until, say Jan 2025, I feel like there should be a decent likelihood that I can still get my preferred color choice.
