Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...

There are a lot of reasons that a car can be held up at the delivery port.
- Customs
- PDI
- Cosmetic Issues (damage in shipment)
- Mechanical Issues
- Port installed options that are unavailable
My car has been sitting at the Jacksonville port since 6/22 with no estimated release.
Hopefully yours gets out of jail sooner rather than later, but there is always the possibility that you could be in for a decent wait still.

They should be able to see what it's flagged for in their internal system though.
That doesn't give much info, but it's more than nothing.

One thing I was told today was that ED cars might take longer to get through customs since it's arriving as an imported vehicle that's personally owned vs a manufacturer's car.

Settling in for many months of anticipation! Just placed my order for a '24 Boxster GTS 4.0, all indications are this will be among the last. November/December build date, but I'm doing ED and want to wait until Spring, so hopefully an April delivery date in Leipzig. Coming back to the Porsche world after four fun years in Miataland.

I dropped mine in Sindelfelgen on 7/17, and it arrived in Halifax on 8/18. Due at the dealership in Toronto on 8/30.
Feels like I got super lucky with the timing of everything.

Got the email this morning that my CGTS has started production(!).
Estimated to be done 10/10 before ED in Zuffenhausen in December.
I guess that mean the factory summer vacation has ended (or is about to).

My Cayman GTS got to Houston 3 days early and was supposed to be on it's way to Omaha on Tuesday, yet again today it is not on a truck going North so hopefully I am not in for the long wait like some are experiencing. Things went super fast and the car landed in Houston 1 month prior to all the original estimates. Here's hoping the busy truck traffic is delaying the loading and shipment North, because all the early estimated dates gets one pumped up the machine might be in the garage way sooner than initially expected.

Posted elsewhere but after a short chat with a friend I realized that we just got done with Monterrey/Pebble Beach Auctions and Concours D' Elegance so a large number of Reliable Trucks were tied up and are likely so this week also returning high end vehicles. That could be part of a slowdown as I remember this being a big factor with new vehicle deliveries back when I was in the business. Just one more item to figure into the equation, and yet, it is still hard to wait .........oh, the anticipation, ha!

My flight to Leipzig takes off in about 72 hours and I have to admit I am more stressed that something will go wrong than excited, can't wait to get behind the wheel already
