Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...

Intermediate
For those with 718 Spyder (not sure if GT4's affected) in production, I was told that completion is being delayed due to "quality control", with not much further details. Mine went in for production on 4/14 (got all 4 photos on 4/19), now with expected completion 5/25-26.

Congrats! That's almost no time wasted from production to getting on Violet Ace.

Started 4/14, 3 photos available a few days later. Initial completion date was 5-19 and now 5-26.

My GT4 arrived at Emden port on 4/25 and waiting for the boat to Jacksonville. Do you know which boat for early next week?

Les gooooooooooooo! Paint shop photo dropped 2 days ago and the rest showed up today. Would be nice if they give you an engine shot on the assembly step. Looks like I got Dunlops, is that the better option for street only? I'll have separate wheels for tracking.

The Dunlops are effectively the equivalent to the Michelin Cup 2's. Some people will say it's a better street tire but they should perform roughly the same. Dunlops however have a reputation of making a tire that can perform but also last a good amount of time. My S2000 had the Dunlop V3 Direzza tires on them. Also a 200 TW tire and i had the set on for about 3 years and 10,000 miles. Autocross every month of those years too. Still good tread on them when i sold the car only slight wear on the inside as i had some pretty aggressive camber, but it was to be expected.
I havnt tried the Dunlops myself but i have heard good things. I personally wanted the Cup2s as ive never had a car with them and ive always wanted to try them but i wouldn't be mad if i had gotten the Dunlops instead.
