Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...

My TYD just updated and shows another month of delay. It's been fully built with photos since 03/09. Not sure what the issue is but I believe it may be a part that is still being waited for. Maybe it's Bose speakers? My SA is out of town on vacation so I'll check with him when he's back in the office.
You and I are in a similar state! My Manufacturing started date is 2/28, and Manufacturing complete was 3/8, pushed to 3/29 (on 3/8). And then a week or two ago it pushed out another 4 weeks to 4/26, with an estimated arrival date to the dealer of 5/24.
With those two slips, my ETA to the dealer pushed from this past week to late May. My SA hasn't been able to provide any specific explanation.
I haven't received the picture of the car completed yet, though - just the Body entering production.
This does not make me happy. Sure, I have my existing PDK GT4 to tide me over, but it still puts me in a tough spot - as I was planning on selling the PDK GT4 soon, so I am trying not to put many more miles on it, and need to plan a timeline to restore it to stock to sell it. I do have a new G87 M2 (in a Manual) coming in very soon (this week?) for the Daily Driver, so I guess I will just have to focus on that for now to try to divert from the trauma of the delay of the Manual GT4 inbound.

My CGTS 4.0 was built on 3/17 and it has Bose. It’s already left Emden on its way to Davisville. So I don’t think Bose is holding up the build process. It may be something specific to GT4/spyder production.

Dates move around a lot.
Mine pushed out a month after i received completion pics then it came back in a couple weeks later. I've had a lot of date changed. Ultimately the car is still tracking the original ETA within reason.

Not that it's a huge deal - but someone mentioned previously that the map in TYD is the most accurate to track the progress of the car once it's on a ship.
This is not true.
The map in TDY is a generic representation if the voyage, it's not actually tracking the boat because I've been tracking the boat on a separate app and it's going an entirely different route that is depicted on TYD. TYD also is not showing which boat the car's been loaded on.
It's a small detail - and it's not even really all that important - but meh - we're here to obsess
Also - TYD is showing the car arriving at port on the 24th yet it's actually scheduled to arrive on the 20th. They certainly build in some buffer.

I'm on step 6, "your vehicle is now released for transport". My production photos are all non-existent. Am I out of luck? Do some people just never get any photos? I've heard of people only getting 1 or 2, but I get zero?

My GTS has been at the Jacksonville port for almost a full week, still no step 9, hopefully today or tomorrow it updates!
EDIT - Well I spoke too soon, step 9 just hit! Less than a week for delivery!

Where are you taking delivery?
A week at Jacksonville huh? Wonder if that delay is waiting on a truck or processing time? Mine will arrive at Jacksonville next week then off to Atlanta from there.

I've heard some people get production pictures after the car is delivered LOL - but that was the old TYD. Seems move people have been getting production pics when the car completes production since the updated TYD interface. Hopefully you still get them! I framed one of mine and hung it in the garage! A nice touch.

So I was gonna do the PEC delivery but it went from mid April to early June, & since it got pushed so much they said I could have it shipped to Perimeter Atlanta where I know the staff - & then come back early June for my PEC day, really cool they did that for me. Should be at the dealership by next Tues, hopefully I can come grab it a day or two after it lands.

Can you tell me what your previous "about to start date was"?
My GT4 was to start 4/3, in fact still shows 4/3 but it isn't in red/actual even today. about 10-12 days ago final delivery date slipped from 5/18 to 5/24, (and a couple one or two day slips before that, but locked on time, "about to start" on time, no no updates!

I'm not sure if this helps anyone in determining if Bose is the cause of any delays but mine has Bose and this is the following status:
It looks like one of the assembly photos is missing from the "Track Your Dreams" website as well. I've got the start and the finish but missing the middle.
Based on what's shown, I assume the car is done but waiting to be tested. Surprising how short of a time it takes to be built vs how long it takes for testing.
